The Trapdoor Apprentice

AboveAll the space that occupies life and air above the passages. Sometimes referred to as the Upper Regions. This is the area that humans typically are aware of. It is here that light is provided by the sun, and other more normal means.

The ApparaticalusA mysterious piece of machinery developed by Crayfish to aid in his production of Trapdoors. It's rarely seen in action, due to the stealthness of the product, although one witness, who declined to be named, said that the machine's fuel appeared to be "rather, large and stinky rats".

BelowAll the space that occupies life and air below the passages. Travel to this region is specifically restricted to trapdoors that open into the passages, in turn allowing those lucky enough, or unlucky enough entry into the Below. Light here is created by artifical means, and sometimes requires using energy from Above.

The DocksSometimes referred to as "The Dock", this is the area that lies directly south of the alley where Crayfish's shop is located. A perpetual hangout for scruffy sailors and shady misanthropes, it's not exactly the most edifying (or safe) place in Fish Bone Harbor. Although, if you're looking for trouble, this would be the first place to stop.

<Fish Bone HarborAs quoted by infamous resident Slosh-back Charlie "Fish Bone Harbor is a dreary, little town". The dreariness usually is caused by the town's proximity to the Swill Sea. It's not unusual to expect more than 5 to 6 days of thick, soupy fog to roll in. That being said, the town's people don't help themselves, last year Fish Bone placed first in the country for "Trash Born Accidents". They also won that dubious honor in 2003 and 2004.

The PassagesSimply put, these are the tunnels that convey trapdoor passengers to the Above and Below. Each passage has its own personality - meaning, they can be unpredictable. Sure, most of the time you will arrive at the appropriate destination, but there is always chance of not arriving at your first choice. Or, it's possible you might not arrive at all.

Model XNot a lot of info here, this trapdoor model is considered by many to not exist. What is known, a Trapdoor Midas 3000 was installed by Crayfish for Admiral Mufflefinger (see picture), and it was later leaked that the Model was actually a hyper-modified version of the Midas, hence "Model X".
